TECAR therapy uses high-frequency electrical energy to support professional treatment applications. DiaCare systems provide capacitive and resistive modes for working with different tissue characteristics and treatment objectives.
The capacitive method uses an insulated active electrode and is designed for tissues with lower resistance to current, including soft and well-hydrated tissues. The application is primarily concentrated beneath the active electrode.
The resistive method uses non-insulated electrodes and is designed for tissues with greater resistance, including tendons, ligaments, fascia, cartilage and bone-related structures. Electrode positioning helps professionals direct the application pathway.
DiaCare systems combine multiple operating modes, guided settings and compatible configurations to support different rehabilitation and sports performance environments.
